The Candy Box was founded in 1955; just a year after hurricane Carol paid us a visit. Through the years, many happy faces have passed through our doors with their favorite candies in hand. The Hall family took over operation of the Candy Box in 1984. We strive to maintain high quality products and the service that our many customers have come to expect. We have expanded the variety of candies offered to include many childhood favorites and hard to find candies. Visitors are often surprised at the extensive variety we pack into our small store. We carry a full line of chocolates with specialties like almond butter crunch and pecan caramel patties, and our sugar free chocolates are quite popular. Our fudge is made the old fashion way, in copper kettles over an open fire, and made with only the freshest of ingredients. We carry gummi bears and gummi octopus, chocolate beach pebbles and candy dots, chocolate babies and barley pops.

It is said that a trip to Watch Hill is not complete without a ride on the Flying Horse Carrousel, a walk on Napatree Point, and a trip to the Candy Box.
 
After a long history of operating a "brick and mortar" retail store, we realized that the wave of the future was online commerce. This site is our first candy related website. Since we constantly look for new ways to keep our product offerings current, new products and categories are always being added, so please keep checking back.
